Build an instant art-history library with this impressive collection of 25 vintage volumes, primarily from the celebrated Time-Life Library of Art series published during the 1960s and 1970s. Together, the books provide an engaging visual journey through more than six centuries of Western art.

The collection features beautifully illustrated volumes devoted to some of history's most influential artists, including Giotto, Leonardo da Vinci, Dürer, Michelangelo, Titian, Bruegel, Vermeer, Velázquez, Rubens, Rembrandt, Bernini, Watteau, Goya, Turner, Delacroix, Whistler, Van Gogh, Cézanne, Rodin, Matisse, Picasso, and Marcel Duchamp.

Each volume combines reproductions of major works with biographical and historical context, offering insight into the artistic movements, cultural environments, and innovations that shaped each artist's career. The collection concludes with American Painting 1900-1970, broadening the set with an overview of 20th-century American art.

Published between 1966 and 1970, these vintage volumes are as appealing for their period design and illustrations as for their art-historical content. An excellent collection for an artist, educator, student, collector, or art enthusiast, and a handsome addition to a home or studio library.
