For nearly 50 years, Napi's was a beloved Provincetown institution-a place woven into the character and memories of the Outer Cape. Now, you can bring home a remarkable piece of that history: the stained glass artwork that graced the restaurant's entrance.
The origins of this beautiful piece remain something of a mystery. When Helen and Anton "Napi" Van Dereck built Napi's in 1975, an opening was created in the brick wall beside the restaurant's yellow entry door to accommodate the stained glass, although its provenance remains unknown.
This piece has been given new life, fitted with LED backlighting and an oak base. Measuring approximately 26" x 63" with its new enclosure and base, it is a striking, one-of-a-kind work of art that commands attention wherever it is displayed. Enjoy as a freestanding illuminated piece, remove the oak base for an in-wall installation, or remove the lighting enclosure altogether and display the glass in a window. Delivery and installation will be coordinated with the winning bidder.
