Escape to a place where the modern world falls away and the extraordinary beauty of Cape Cod takes center stage. At "The Peg," an historic dune shack nestled in the shifting sands of the Provincetown/Truro dunes, you'll join a tradition that has provided refuge and inspiration to artists, writers, and seekers of solitude for generations.

Life here is wonderfully simple: solar lights and lanterns illuminate the evenings, a wood-fired or gas stove provides the means to prepare meals, and water is drawn by hand. Spend your days walking the dunes, exploring the seashore, reading, writing, watching the ever-changing light-or doing very little at all.

This rare Cape Cod experience can be scheduled in May, June or possibly October, 2027. Also included: a framed fine-art photograph, Peaked Hills, by acclaimed Cape Cod photographer Jon Vaughan, and his beautifully produced book, Cape Cod: Dawn to Dusk, a celebration of the Cape's beauty.
