"Tip Toe Through the Tulips" by Laura Meddaugh, 1997, is a charming mixed-media composition combining watercolor, pen and ink, and color xerography. Cut and layered paper creates an inviting dimensional scene filled with playful details and quirky narrative. A cat strolls across a table on its way to the sofa, tipping over a vase of tulips along the way. Through the window, a field of tulips adds a colorful outdoor backdrop, while a framed painting inspired by Claude Monet hangs on the wall. The artwork measures 3.75" x 6.5" and is beautifully matted and framed under glass in a 12" x 15" frame. A whimsical addition to any art collection!
