36 x 48 1/1 Original Painting with Resin painted by Artist Laura Chirino (update description with art details)

About the Artist :

My name is Laura Chirino "LC" and I was born in Havana, Cuba. At the age of 3, through the perseverance of my amazing parents, I was granted citizenship to this amazing country. Since then, I grew up and continue to reside here in beautiful Miami, Florida. My passion for art began at a very young age. As a child I was surrounded by art and music, along with the beauty of the Southeast landscape, inspiring my interest in fine art.

After many years of painting in watercolors, I moved forward experimenting with abstracts in various mediums. This pushed me to expand my horizons and tap into new areas of painting I had not yet explored.

There was an obvious freedom and personal expression with abstraction and it was then that I really began to flourish. I was deeply interested in the effects of color, texture and the emotional response to strong composition and design. By removing the representational and creating something that told a story without an observational subject matter was very exciting.

Today I work in a bold mix of styles, ranging from sleek and contemporary to weathered and organic. I try to bring a subtle and sophisticated feel to my paintings through a unique balance of color, composition and texture.

Join me on this wild yet amazing adventure as I build "Art By Chirino" while bringing life by color to everything I touch!

With Love,

LC
