This is an original painting done by a Navati Native of South Central Mexico, state of Morelos, on the rare white bark of the Amate tree, to celebrate and commemorate the Cabalgata ride through the Navati villages in January 1978. The owl in the picture is the mascot, or emblem, of the Cabalgata. The Navati speak a Mayan dialect.
