Hikari is one of the most influential foundation Akaushi (Japanese Red Wagyu) bulls in the U.S.. Born in the Kumamoto Prefecture of Japan, he was imported in 1994 as part of a highly exclusive group of just three foundation Akaushi bulls. Sired by the notable Dai 10 Mitsumaru. Hikari is celebrated for passing on calving ease, robust maternal instincts, heavy-milking daughters, and highly marbled, exceptional rail performance in his progeny. He sired several other foundation and prominent sires, most notably Umemaru and Judo. He is also the grand-sire of popular bulls like Big Al and Seisakushu C221. Because of his profound and lasting impact on the breed, Hikari's semen and embryo genetics remain actively prized by breeders looking to enhance growth and carcass quality.

Stored at Hoffmans AI Logan Utah. Transportation buyers responsibility.
