In honor of the brave men who stormed the beaches of Normandy during the D-Day invasion on June 6, 1944, this flag was carried during a high-altitude jump over Normandy, including the historic areas surrounding Omaha Beach and Utah Beach. The jump paid tribute to the courage, sacrifice, and legacy of the Allied forces whose actions changed the course of World War II.
