About the Artist
"I have been working in metal for more than fifty years, teaching in colleges and workshops. I have written over a dozen books on jewelry making and knife making, including several books about African craftspeople. This knife was inspired by a tool called a "teziguse" used by Tuareg craftspeople working with leather."
