About the Artist
"I am an artist based in Fort Worth, TX and a recent graduate from University of North Texas. I create jewelry and wearable sculptures. The bulk of my work is centered around the before, during and after of processing grief.
My work is rooted in the structure of the human body, not in the way we commonly see it, but through the lens of microscopic biology. As a metalsmith, I'm drawn to the intricacies of histology: the patterns and rhythms of cells and tissues that are often invisible to the eye, but essential to life. I use these cellular structures as visual metaphors to process emotional experiences, particularly grief."
