Bessie Potter Vonnoh was an American sculptor known for her intimate bronzes depicting domestic life and for her garden fountains. In 1903, she and her husband, artist Robert Vonnoh, began spending summers in Old Lyme, becoming long-time members of the Lyme Art Colony. Over the course of her career, Vonnoh received numerous medals, mounted major one-woman exhibitions, and completed significant public commissions, including the Burnette Fountain in New York's Central Park and a portrait of James S. Sherman for the U.S. Capitol.

This package also includes a $100 gift card to the enchanting de Gerenday's Fine Art Materials and Curiosities on the campus of the Lyme Academy of Fine Arts. Browse for the finest art materials -- all hand-selected by their renowned faculty -- and exquisite giftable objects from around the globe.
