Patricia Stark Feinstein is a painter, teacher, writer, and curator who has worked in New York and on Cape Cod. Her paintings have been exhibited at the Cork Gallery and Atlantic Gallery in NYC and at the Provincetown Art Association, the Cape Cod Museum of Art, the Harvest Gallery in Dennis, MA, among other venues. After graduating from Mount Holyoke College with dual degrees in studio art and art history, Pat studied with Sam Feinstein whose classes continued the Hans Hofmann modernist philosophy of art. She and Sam were married in 1985 and for two decades they together taught painting workshops in Michigan and Toronto. Pat has curated and lectured on the art of Sam Feinstein and is author of the monograph about his work. For twenty-two years Pat taught painting, drawing and the history of art and western culture at Riverdale Country School in New York City while summering and painting on the Cape. Patricia serves as Trustee on the Board of the Cape Cod Museum of Art. She resides in Brewster.
