Cecilia Rossey graduated from Daemen College, and received her MS from SUNY, at Buffalo, NY. She married her sculptor husband and lived a creative life in Italy with their three sons. Returning to the States she relocated to West Dennis, MA. As a former member of the Washington Printmakers Gallery, DC, she participated in "American Impressions: Contemporary Printmaking," in Shanghai, China in 2012, and has exhibited in Italy, Peru and England. In 2014 she was invited as an artist-in-residence at the Wesley Theological Seminary, DC. Invitational and juried exhibits include "My City, My Home," a book collaboration produced by TRESS, of Lima, Peru, 2015, "Our Lady of Perpetual Exhaustion," Dadian Gallery, DC, and exhibits of the New York Etchers Society, and the Women's National Caucus in NYC. In 2019 she was juried into "Solar Impressions," an international exhibit organized by Dan Welden with presentations in Southampton, NY. She was given an award by Eric Fischl, juror. Ms. Rossey has been an active member of the Printmakers of Cape Cod and serves on the Collections and Acquisition Committee at CCMoA. Ms. Rossey is represented as a featured artist at the Miller White Fine Arts Gallery, South Dennis, MA and online with Etsy.
