In 1983, Hill's Pet Products Inc (which later was rebranded as Hill's Pet Nutrition) specially commissioned Pamela Powers to do a series of dog drawings, called the "Performance Art Series" for the Dog Museum of America's Black Tie Reception, where Hill's was the presenting sponsor. At that event, the art was launched as a campaign for the "Astro World Dog Show".

Each sketch depicts a classification of dog breeds - from working breeds, to herding, toy, to arctic! Browse the gallery to find all of the different classification sketches she created and bid high on the classification you are the most "drawn" to.

Pamela was awarded a Merit Scholarship by the School of Fine Arts, Washington University in St. Louis. The deep connection between Hill's Pet Nutrition and Helping Hands Humane Society makes these extremely rare items a collector's item for the dog lover. Each print was offered in limited quantities at the event in 1983.
