About the artist: Lisette Bedoya, a Hunterdon County resident, is one of the busiest teaching artists in NJ. For Lisa, pottery is an unwavering passion. She loves sharing the love of mud with all ages for over twenty-five years teaching primarily at the Visual Arts Center of NJ in Summit and currently sharing her time at more studios, Flemington Pottery, Old Borough Hall Pottery in High Bridge, A Maker's Circle in Pottersville and Propagate in Stewartsville.

Her work is for sale in a variety of places including the Hunterdon Art Museum and craft shows throughout the state. She is constantly working to develop new colors of glazes. From stark contrasting textures and colors to subtle variations that only become apparent the more the viewer looks at them, her pieces also play with traditional shapes. Each piece is a one-of-a-kind work of art.
