Get ready, Austin. Freedom Fest 2026 is pulling up bigger, louder, and more powerful than ever.
Join the Austin Area Urban League for a full day of culture, music, food, and community as we celebrate Juneteenth in the heart of East Austin. This is more than an event. This is a homecoming. A reunion. A celebration of who we are, where we've been, and where we're going.
From the moment you step onto the grounds, you'll feel it. The energy. The music. The joy.
Bring the whole family and tap into the Kidz Zone packed with fun and activities for the next generation. Pull up on our community vendor marketplace featuring local businesses, organizations, and Black-owned brands. Grab a plate from some of Austin's best food trucks serving up flavors that feel like home.
Think you've got game? Step into the Domino and Spades Tournament and show out. Whether you're playing or just watching, you already know the tables are going to be loud.
The Soul of the City Sound Stage is bringing the vibes all day long with live performances from incredible local talent, leading into a headlining set you do not want to miss. In between sets, we're turning it all the way up with a DJ-led community dance party. If you've got rhythm, this is your moment.
And when the sun starts to settle, it's time to hit the dance floor for a full hour of line dancing. Boots on the ground, fans in hand, and the whole community moving together.
Freedom Fest is where generations connect. Where culture is celebrated out loud. Where East Austin's legacy lives on through music, movement, and community.
