Gather six guests for an intimate and unforgettable evening at Fête Bistro by Slay, where acclaimed Chef David Slay will personally craft a six-course dining experience celebrating the very best of California cuisine, estate-grown ingredients, and world-class hospitality.
A third-generation restaurateur with classical culinary training in Paris and Versailles, Chef Slay has become one of Manhattan Beach's most beloved culinary figures. Known for his thoughtful approach to seasonal cooking and genuine hospitality, Chef Slay combines refined technique, exceptional ingredients, and a deep love of sharing meals that bring people together.
For one extraordinary evening, you and your guests will enjoy an elegant six-course tasting menu featuring specialty vegetables harvested from Slay Estate & Vineyard alongside expertly selected wines from The Slay Family collection and Chef Slay's celebrated Sta. Rita Hills cellar.
From the first sip of champagne and caviar service to the final decadent dessert, every detail of this experience is designed to delight.
The final menu will be thoughtfully customized with the host in advance, creating a seamless and memorable dining experience for all guests aligned with the following:

Bidding on Live Auction Lots will take place during the evening program at the Manhattan Wine Auction on June 6th. Only guests in attendance or officially bidding by proxy may place a bid. To bid by proxy, please contact the MBEF office at 310-303-3342. All auction items will be paid in full at the close of the Live Auction on June 6th. All sales are final, no refunds or exchanges will be made.
