Once Upon a Gala: Every Story Matters - Guest FAQ

Where do I find my ticket? Will I receive one by email?
There are no physical or digital tickets to print, download, or pick up. If you purchased through our website, you should have received a confirmation email from GiveSmart. When you arrive, give us the name or company name used for the purchase and we'll check you in. If you purchased multiple tickets, please assign guest names in GiveSmart in advance if possible.

What time should I arrive?
Doors and check-in open at 6:00 p.m. We recommend arriving close to 6:00 so you have time for drinks, photos, activities, and exploring before the program begins.

Where is the gala?
Heather Hill Farm & Gardens, 2027 E. Midvalley Road, Enoch, Utah 84721. Free parking is available at the venue and along the road.

Where do I check in?
Check-in will be on the north side of the building. Just give us the name associated with your registration.

Do I need to be 21 to attend?
No. All ages are welcome. Guests 21+ purchasing alcohol will need valid ID at check-in and will receive a wristband.

What should I wear?
This is a formal event. Cocktail dresses, gowns, suits, dress shirts, and other formal attire are welcome. Storybook, floral, garden, or fairytale-inspired touches are encouraged, but costumes are not expected. See our Pinterest board below for inspiration.

Is dinner included?
Yes. Your ticket includes dinner, dessert, snacks, water, entertainment, dancing, and the gala experience.

Will drinks be available?
Yes. Cocktails and mocktails will be available for purchase. Alcohol is limited to guests 21+ with valid ID. Water will also be available.

What kind of entertainment will there be?
The evening includes Masters of Dueling, music, dancing, photo experiences, activities, Canyon Creek storytelling, and presentation of the Hero Award.

Is this a sit-down program all night?
No. We'll gather for dinner, entertainment, and a short program, but much of the evening is yours to explore, take photos, grab a drink, participate in activities, visit with friends, and dance.

Will there be fundraising?
Yes. This is Canyon Creek Services' annual fundraiser, with several optional ways to support our work. No additional donation beyond your ticket purchase is required.

What are the treasure chests?
They're part of a special fundraising experience, with a little mystery saved for the end of the night. Visit the Fairy Godfund experience at the gala to learn more.

What forms of payment are accepted?
Cash, card, Venmo, PayPal, and tap to pay will be available.

Is the event indoors or outdoors?
Both. Guests may move between indoor and outdoor spaces. October evenings can be cool, so consider bringing a jacket.

Is there a coat check?
No, but guests will have dinner seating where they may leave coats or belongings.

Do I have to know someone at Canyon Creek Services to come?
Not at all! The Gala is open to the community. Come for a date night, with friends, coworkers, or a full table.

Where does the money raised go?
Proceeds support Canyon Creek Services and our work with survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault throughout Iron, Beaver, and Garfield Counties.
