From humble beginnings picking cotton in Fort Payne, Alabama, to becoming one of the most influential bands in country music history, ALABAMA's story is pure American legend. Randy Owen, Jeff Cook, and Teddy Gentry spent years playing for tips at a Myrtle Beach bar before breaking through in 1980 with "My Home's in Alabama."

They went on to change country music forever-bringing rock energy, big-stage production, and crossover appeal to the genre-while selling over 80 million albums, charting 43 No. 1 singles, and winning more than 170 major awards. Named the RIAA's Country Group of the Century and inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame, ALABAMA's influence can be heard in artists from Kenny Chesney to Zac Brown Band.

Decades later, their songs remain timeless, their crowds span generations, and their legacy as one of the greatest bands in American music history continues to grow.
