JAMES BOCKELMAN is represented by Circuitous Succession Gallery (Memphis, TN), Modern Arts Midtown (Omaha, NE), and Galerie Inga Kondeyne (Berlin), and has previously been represented by Lo River Arts Gallery (Beacon, NY) and the Karolyn Sherwood Gallery (Des Moines, IA). His work has been featured in solo exhibitions at the Sheldon Museum of Art, the Museum of Nebraska Art, the University of Nebraska Omaha, and Kunstoffice in Berlin. He has also exhibited in regional, national, and international exhibitions, including the Drawing Room (Hamburg, Germany), Festival du Dessin (Arles, France), and Pavillon am Milchhof (Berlin). A recipient of Nebraska Arts Fellowship awards in 2007 and 2015, Bockelman earned an MFA in painting from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 1997. He is professor of art and director of the Marxhausen Gallery of Art at Concordia University, Nebraska.
