LAURIE VICTOR KAY (b. 1971) is a multi-disciplinary artist whose work blurs the lines between photography, painting, installation, and digital media to explore the human condition. She studied painting at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and photography at Columbia College Chicago (BFA, 1995). Victor Kay's work has been featured in Whitehot Magazine of Contemporary Art (New York), Musee Magazine (New York), Culturalee (UK), A Women's Thing, Museum Weekly, ESSENCE, FRAMES Magazine, Professional Photographers of America, Bethlem Museum of the Mind (UK), and Ramona Magazine (AUS). She has been a recent guest artist and mentor at SCAD in both Savannah and Atlanta. Victor Kay is an ambassador of the 80-year ALPA camera. Her 2024 multimedia installation, Artist Hands as Instrument, at Davis Global UNMC/iExcel brought international recognition for her work at the intersection of art, science, and healing. Her work is on view at UNMC's Lauritzen Outpatient Center, Buffett Cancer Center, May River Capital in Chicago, and 4 World Trade Center in New York. An ongoing artistic collaboration with Desmalter Paris 1775 brings her work to fashion. Victor Kay recently received an International Renown Artist Visa in France. She lives in Paris and Omaha.
