JENNY BROWN is a visual artist based in Providence, RI, whose primary mediums are drawing and collage. With a focus on ideas surrounding the most nostalgic, curious, and futuristic aspects of the natural world, she asks her viewers to consider all possible timelines and outcomes for her subjects. Brown received a BA from Bennington College in 1996 and an MFA from the School of Visual Arts in 2005, and currently works out of an antique-filled studio in Providence's Olneyville neighborhood. In the past year, her work has been shown at the Dryden Gallery in Providence and the Affordable Art Fair Boston, and she has led workshops and artist talks at Squam Art Workshops. In early 2026, Brown's studio was featured in Where Women Create magazine, alongside an essay she wrote about being a "late bloomer" in the art world.
