LAUREL FARRIN is a multidisciplinary artist. Her work has been exhibited at Devening Projects, Chicago; Lesley Heller Gallery, New York City; Des Moines Art Center; Figge Museum; Hallwalls, Buffalo, NY; Joyce Goldstein Gallery, Chatham, NY; Bemis Center for Contemporary Arts; Roswell Museum; Corcoran Gallery of Art; and Bronx River Art Center. Her work has been published in New American Paintings and featured in FatBoy Review, Manchester, UK. Past residencies include Yaddo, MacDowell, Pratt Summer Residency, Dora Maar, Sienna Art Institute, Roswell Museum and Art Center, and Millay Colony. Farrin received an artist grant from the DC Commission on the Arts and Humanities, and her work is in the collection of Des Moines Art Center, Tang Teaching Museum, Figge Museum, Roswell Museum, DC Commission on the Arts and Humanities, Wilson Building, and Grinnell College Art Museum, among others. Farrin is a professor at the University of Iowa School of Art and Art History.
