JESSIE HENSON (b. 1977) lives and works in New York and Delhi, NY. Henson received a BFA in 1999 from the Corcoran College of Art and Design in Washington, DC. She then received an MFA in 2007 from the School of Mason Gross at Rutgers University, New Brunswick, NJ. Henson has had solo exhibitions at the Joslyn Art Museum, Omaha, NE; Anthony Meier, Mill Valley, CA; Broadway Gallery, New York; Bushell Collective, Delhi, NY; and A.I.R. Gallery, New York. The Joslyn Art Museum, Omaha, NE, holds her work in its collection. Henson has been an artist-in-residence at the Bronx Museum of Art, New York; Bemis Center for Contemporary Arts, Omaha, NE; Urban Glass, New York; the Laundromat Project, New York; and Dieu Donne Papermill, New York.
