KEEGAN DUNN is an ecologist and analog photographer living in Omaha, NE. Dunn uses darkroom photography as a scientific and narrative tool to investigate the twenty-first-century landscape of the Great Plains. He has received numerous research grants to create work about endangered oak woodlands and riverine wetlands that sustain life as we know it in Nebraska. He has completed residencies at Homestead National Historic Park (Beatrice, NE) and Cedar Point Biological Station (Ogallala, NE). He earned an AA in Applied Sciences from Metropolitan Community College (Omaha, NE) and a BS in integrated sciences with focuses in fire ecology, fish biology, and photography. Dunn was a Bemis Center artist-in-residence intern in the summer of 2023.
