Gift certificate towards $75 of food purchase at Yume Sushi. Takenoya restaurant on Calle Real in Goleta closed in late 2013 but the ownership and most of the staff have returned with the opening of Yume Sushi at 428 Chapala Street, the former home of Adama and Casa de Sevilla. Yume Sushi will be very different than Takenoya, offering more of a relaxed, western-style Japanese restaurant experience. Co-owner Denise Hsueh says that offerings from the extensive menu include Japanese-style pizza also known a "seafood pancake" which is a pan-fried mixture of flour, egg, onion, shredded cabbage, scallop, shrimp, squid and bacon, topped with okonomuyaki sauce. Hsueh also recommends a noodle dish called Seafood Nabe which includes assorted fish, clam, crab, mussel, scallop, shrimp and vegetables.
