About the Event:
For one evening, an intimate group of visionaries will gather as a community to celebrate not only an exhibition opening, but also a transformation. Woodswoman: Earthseed by Saya Woolfalk is the newest installation at The New Children's Museum. It is a living space. And this event is its first breath.
About the Organization:
The New Children's Museum's mission is to spark creativity, exploration, and a sense of belonging through interactive art experiences. They unlock children's innate creativity by exposing them to art and the creative process. The New Children's Museum is a dramatic, multi-level 50,000 square-foot building that includes a series of transparent, flexible spaces which visibly expose the building's construction and design. It's one of the first green museums in California.
