Magnum of 2012 "KINGLY PROJECT" Estate Cabernet Sauvignon

THE GRADE Cellars / Napa Valley, CA

99 Pts Robert Parker, The Wine Advocate

Winemaker: Thomas Rivers Brown

Per Robert Parker: "Sweet cassis, graphite, high-class unsmoked cigar tobacco and background oak characteristics are omnipresent in this full-bodied, opulent, multidimensional, majestic Cabernet Sauvignon! It should age effortlessly for two decades."

THE GRADE Cellars is a family-owned, boutique winery situated in the Calistoga District of Napa Valley, California. Specializing in 100% varietal, estate-grown Cabernet Sauvignon, they craft their small-lot wines under the guidance of renowned winemaker Thomas Rivers Brown. The winery draws its unique name from a passage in Robert Louis Stevenson's book The Silverado Squatters, which references "The Grade" wagon trail on the slopes of Mount Saint Helena.
