At Blessings in a Backpack our mission is to ensure that children worry about being kids, not about where their next meal comes from. We provide food on the weekends for students who might otherwise go hungry.

Since our foundation in April 2014, our program now serves 14 schools within the Folsom Cordova Unified School District, Sacramento City Unified School District, and Black Oak Mine School District making an impact on the lives of young students.

Join us on June 27 at BarmHaus Brewing Company, in Garden Valley, for Rock'n the Divide to fund our program at Georgetown Elementary school.
