Frustrated with the lack of authentic bagels in Las Vegas, Nick decided to open his own business, Abel's Bagels. The name, inspired by the Biblical figure Abel, represents Nick's commitment to offering only the best quality.

New York bagels are considered to be some of the best in the world due to their unique texture and flavor. The dough used to make New York bagels is made from high-quality ingredients - At Abel's Bagels, Nick uses many organic ingredients to craft his proprietary dough before hand-rolling and forming the bagels. After the bagels are formed and proofed, they are cold-proofed for 12-40 hours to develop deeper flavor and character. After cold-proofing, the bagels are boiled in water before being baked in a 450 degree oven. The combination of the high-quality ingredients, hand-rolling, precision proofing, and the boiling and baking process, results in a chewy texture on the inside and a crispy crust on the outside. Additionally, the high-gluten flour gives the bagels a distinct flavor and a satisfying chew.

In 2014, Nick cofounded nooks & kindles Organic Juice Bar in Roslyn, NY. For 9 years, the business grew to be an adored staple in the community. In 2022, Nick moved to Las Vegas, starting a new chapter in life. Approaching this new adventure with an open-mind, Nick decided to create a bagel concept; noticing that great bagels were being underserved in Las Vegas, combined with Nick's deep-love for bagels, Abel's Bagels was spawned. Like the biblical character Abel, Nick always strives to offer his best!
