Five-Course Private Dinner for Eight with Wine Pairings

Mangia! Enjoy an unforgettable evening of Italian food, wine, and hospitality with longtime Wichita journalist and community advocate Susan Peters and her husband, Rob for you and seven guests.

Susan-half Italian and half Lebanese-and Rob, a New York Italian, will bring their family heritage and love of good food to the table with a home-cooked, five-course Italian feast for eight guests. The evening begins with a welcoming glass of champagne, followed by five delicious courses, each accompanied by a different wine pairing.

And this dinner comes to you! Susan and Rob will prepare and serve the evening in the auction winner's home, creating an intimate private dining experience perfect for gathering friends around the table for great food, great wine, and even better company.

Many Wichitans will recognize Susan from her more than 30-year career in television journalism. An Emmy Award-winning journalist and Silver Circle Lifetime Achievement recipient, Susan has also devoted decades to serving the Wichita community. Since retiring from television news, she has continued that work as founder and president of Susan's Kids, helping older children in foster care find permanent, loving families.
