Title: Hal
Artist: Rose Cunningham
Medium: Acrylic
Dimensions: 11" x 14"
Animal Depicted: Hal
Hal arrived in our care in March 2026. With his red, itchy, bleeding skin and missing hair, he joined a long list of dogs who had been completely neglected. Despite his physical appearance, he was the sweetest, most gentle guy. He leaned in for pets and snuggles, and we promised him it was his lucky day. We gave him antibiotics, pain meds, and medicated baths. Before long he was ready for a foster home, and that's really where the magic happened!
Hal blossomed into his true self while in his foster home. His furry foster sister taught him what toys were and how to play. His foster humans taught him what trust was and how to feel comfortable in their home. He is a smart, easy going dog with so much love to give. And the best part? His fur is beautiful, and he LOVES getting all of the pets and scratches. Hal, you will find your forever home soon, and you will live the BEST life that you so badly deserve!
Status: Adopted. Hal's foster family fell in love with him, and they decided he had become a part of their family. They officially adopted Hal in July 2026.
