It was a really cold day in late December, and some of our caregivers were grabbing lunch when they saw a poor pup, scouring for food in the streets. He wouldn't let them come close, so Donna met them to help. He was on high alert - jumping as cars went by - and he kept his distance. Donna set a trap and patiently watched him. Time went by, and the sun went down. Finally, this boy decided he was too cold to suffer on the streets another night, and he went into the trap.

We named him Triple Cheese, and he was an absolute doll. The moment he was in the trap, he melted like so many do. He knew he didn't have to fend for himself anymore; we would take care of him. He saw the doctor, got a bath, got a bed, and enjoyed a nice, warm night at the shelter. It didn't take long for him to find his forever home, and he's been living the good life ever since!
