Cobalt was rescued in August 2025 at just 8 months old. He arrived with a gunshot wound to the head and multiple injuries that were severely infected and infested with maggots. Despite the trauma he endured, Cobalt showed incredible resilience from the very beginning. He underwent surgery to remove the bullet, and he began healing beautifully. His favorite nurse at Stray Rescue, Zaria, decided to take him home as a medical foster where his gentle nature and forgiving heart began to shine through. A few months later, he started showing signs of pain when trying to stand up, so he came back in for the doctors to check him out. They found lingering bullet fragments in the soft tissue of his neck - this poor guy couldn't catch a break. Through it all, Cobalt showed remarkable resilience and an unwavering spirit, proving just how strong and loving dogs can be. Zaria then knew she and Cobalt were meant to be, so she officially adopted him in January 2026. Now known as Koe, he is living his second chance at life to the fullest.

Artwork will NOT be available to pick up before this (unless you are notified otherwise via email). If you are not local to the St. Louis Area, shipping is available for this item upon request (for an additional cost which will be calculated for each piece individually).
