One of our first rescues of 2024, Bannister was rescued on a very cold day. Neighbors spotted him on their Ring cameras howling on their front porches. We took him immediately, and at first he was very reserved and shy. He was so skinny, arthritic, and just wanted to sleep and get warm. As time went on and he gained some weight, he became one of the most affectionate old men in the shelter. He gives hugs, kisses, and loves to get pets. He is a great walker, in fact he is often taken out by volunteer groups because he is so good. Bannister is coming up on TWO YEARS of living in the shelter, and all he wants is a home (and mainly a couch) to call his own. Bannister is ready to spend the rest of his golden years as the best friend you have always wanted.

Artwork will NOT be available to pick up before this (unless you are notified otherwise via email). If you are not local to the St. Louis Area, shipping is available for this item upon request (for an additional cost which will be calculated for each piece individually). All winning bidders will receive an email with more information once the auction has closed.
