In late October 2025, a woman called us frantically after finding a tiny, emaciated dog in a box. She told us that he was cold to the touch, but he was still breathing. The Good Samaritan rushed him to our clinic, but he was knocking on death's door. Our medical team checked him out and got him stable and then decided to send him to an emergency clinic for 24-hour care. Miraculously, he made it through the night, and he was discharged from the ER two days later. This poor baby was so skinny and weak that he needed to go very slow in his recovery. He was put on a refeeding schedule, and the clinic caregivers took him on short outings throughout the day. Renlo quickly went to a medical foster home so he could heal in a warm, quiet place full of love and one on one attention. Through his foster family, Renlo met his forever family and was adopted in January 2026. He is living the BEST life, and he is a true Warrior Dog of Stray Rescue.

Artwork will NOT be available to pick up before this (unless you are notified otherwise via email). If you are not local to the St. Louis Area, shipping is available for this item upon request (for an additional cost which will be calculated for each piece individually).
