Jackie Frost was a good mom. She had her puppies in the back room of an abandoned house. It was a frigid, snowy day in St. Louis when we found mom and her puppies laying on old clothes in the back of the abandoned house. Mom was doing everything she could to keep her newly born puppies alive.

The house was full of someone's discarded items that we had to climb over to get to her. After a few low growls, just to let us know that she was a good mom, she let me leash her up and walk her out of the house.

She waited outside to make sure her puppies were close behind before we headed to the jeep with the family.

Mom was reunited with the puppies at the shelter and quickly went to foster. This family, once living in a filthy, abandoned house, has all found their loving forever homes.
