AUCTION RULES

You do not need to attend The Healing Plate at the Library of Virginia on Thursday, May 7th to participate in the online auction. Live auction items can be previewed on the auction site, but bidding for these packages will take place in person at the Library of Virginia on the evening of May 7th. If you do not have a ticket to attend but would like to place a proxy bid, please email Will Hutchisson at [email protected] by Thursday, May 6th.

All online and live auction bids are binding contracts, and your credit card will be charged.

All sales are final and non-refundable. Payment is due at the conclusion of the event.

Packages expire 12 months from the event date (May 7th, 2027), unless otherwise stated. Refunds, exchanges, or cash value are not permitted, unless specifically noted. Travel packages are subject to availability, non-transferable, and gift certificates cannot be replaced.

CARITAS is not responsible if you are unable to redeem your package. If you choose not to redeem your purchase, we can provide an amended receipt reflecting a fully tax-deductible donation. A portion of your purchase may be tax-deductible.

The fair market value of your purchase will be included on your receipt.

AUCTION ITEM PICK UP

If you are the winning bidder for any items, you will be notified and provided with instructions for retrieving your purchase at checkout. If you are the winner of one or more items but did not attend The Healing Plate, a CARITAS staff member will contact you by the close of business on Monday, May 11th to coordinate pickup.
