To get to Oak Island; you can either cross the Canadian Border in Warroad or Roseau. Border crossings require either a valid driver's license and birth certificate or passport for proof of identity and citizenship for everyone in the vehicle. If you have a boat; you can make the trek across the lake to Oak Island; and if you don't have a boat there are three launch services available to get you across the lake. There is a small store at the lodge; but buying groceries in Warroad or Roseau and bringing them across the lake with you to Oak Island is strongly encouraged.
