• Gamba Zinfandel MCM Estate 2021 -- Planted in the Russian River Valley in 1900, the Gamba Estate Vineyard's thoughtful organic farming methods and reliance on rainwater for its sole source of irrigation has not changed in over a century. 100% Indigenous yeast fermented Old Vine Zinfandel, 100% Russian River Valley, 80% American oak/ 20% French oak aged 18 mos., from dry farmed, organically grown, hand harvested, double hand-sorted fruit. 450 cases produced.
• Unit Syrah 2022 Estate winery block -- This Syrah comes entirely from our Creekside block, planted in 1998. The clone is from our original Benchland vineyard planted in gravelly, sandy loam that facilitates a balanced canopy and crop level. A small portion of this wine was whole-cluster fermented to enhance aroma and structure. Our Syrah was aged in French oak barrels, 40% new, for 14 months. 600 cases produced.
• Ancien Carneros Chardonnay 2019 -- This Chardonnay owes its style, depth, and structure to intensely flavored, low yielding, heirloom clones grown at the Toyon Farm on the Napa side of Carneros. These selections are often referred to as "Old Wente" denoting the sourced mother block in the 1960s. Pressed the grapes as whole clusters, settled and fermented entirely in French oak from four different coopers, chosen for their unique synergies and complementing the lush fruit on the palate. One third of the barrels were new. 400 cases produced
• LIOCO Sativa Medocino Carignan 2022 -- From a historic Mendocino vineyard pitched on the lofty slopes above Cloverdale, this Carignan comes from 70 year-old, dry-farmed, head-trained vines. Fruit was field sorted in the vineyard to ensure only choice clusters were used. We foot tread it, then fermented beneath a submerged cap with 100% whole clusters for 15 days. The free run juice was racked to neutral oak where it spent 18 months undisturbed. 278 cases produced
• Woodenhead Russian River Valley Pinot Noir 2020 -- As usual a favorite of our staff here at the winery and that's because of our blending trials involved in the creation of this wine. Different every year …four components this vintage; Cinder Cone Vineyard, Pommard & Martini Clones; Ritchie Vineyard, Martini Clone; Buena Tierra Vineyard, Clone 943, and Buena Tierra Vineyard, Clone 115.300 cases produced.
• Watermark Corilan Vineyard Howell Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon 2022 -- High on Howell Mountain our private estate StonewriterRanch you will find our 3 acre Corilan Vineyard. At 2200 feet the air is rarified and the ultraviolet rays make the skins of the berries thick and dark. The wines are deep and luscious with a dark ruby color and strong fruit aromas. The 2022 vintage is 96% cabernet sauvignon and 4% Malbec fruit from our vineyard. 335 cases produced.
