On Monday, May 18, 2026, Capital Caring Health will proudly host the 1st Annual Champions for Charity Golf Tournament at the exclusive River Creek Club in Leesburg, VA. Your participation goes far beyond the greens: every swing supports compassionate hospice, palliative care, and bereavement services for families across our region.
As the leading nonprofit provider of advanced illness care in Virgina, Maryland, and Washington, DC, Capital Caring Health delivers comfort, dignity, and expert support for all who need it, regardless of their ability to pay. Event proceeds directly fund critical hospice, advanced illness care, and grief support programs for thousands of patients, caregivers, and families across the Greater Washington Region.

TOURNAMENT PROGRAM
7:45 a.m. - 8:30 a.m.
Registration, Breakfast, and Practice - Guests check in, enjoy a hearty breakfast and warm up.
8:40 a.m.
Welcoming Remarks - Capital Caring Health will share a brief welcome and outline the day's activities.
8:45 a.m.
Putting Contest - Golfers will be able to participate in a fun putting challenge.
8:50 a.m.
Rules and Announcements - A quick review of tournament rules and special contests will be provided.
9:00 a.m.
Shotgun Start - Golfers will be positioned at their designated starting holes and begin play simultaneously.
9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
Beverage Cart Service - Refreshing beverages and snacks will be available throughout the course.
11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
Grill Stations on the Course - Guests will enjoy chef-prepared grilled favorites at Holes 5 and 14.
2:30 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Reception Lunch, Raffles, and Awards Ceremony - Gourmet reception featuring Mediterranean and carving stations, complemented by a premium open bar.

Our pediatric hospice program is one of the largest on the East Coast, offering specialized care for children with life-limiting diseases. We also provide tailored services for veterans, as well as patients living with heart failure and end-stage lung disease.
Each year, nearly $3 million is dedicated to caring for those without coverage or financial resources including grief support programs offered at no cost to the community, with nearly 90 cents of every dollar going directly to patients and families. Over the years, we have served nearly 150,000 patients and their families through our neighborhood-based network across Maryland, Virginia, and Washington DC.
