Pet Care:

This event requires NON-RETRACTABLE LEASHES. Handler/attendee can bring no more than 2 dogs per adult. Please be courteous of other dogs who may not want to do greets, as well as picking up after your poochy's poops so we can leave the shelter as nice as we found it for all. Since there will be a lot of other dogs, any attending pet will need to up to date on vaccines. Pets behaving in any fashion that HHHS deems disruptive will be asked to leave the event. OVERFLOW PARKING at Topeka West 2001 SW Fairlawn Rd, Topeka, KS 66604 the parking lot entrance on SW Belle Ave next to the soccer field.

3pm - 6pm - T-Shirt and Swag Bag Pick-Up in the HHHS Hill's Room at 5720 SW 21st St, Topeka KS 66604

Saturday April 18th, 2026

8am - Vendor Set-Up Begins at HHHS

10am - EVENT KICK-OFF - Doors open to the public. You can pick up your swag bag and shirt starting at this time and come into the event. We anticipate shirts being sold out before the day of, so order early! You must pre-order through this site ahead of time. Admission on the day of without a shirt will still be open - we are just asking for a free-will donation! 

2pm - Event Ends

Friday, April 17th-Sunday, April 26th

Take Paws in the Park to your favorite park! Walk (with your dog if you have one!) at least one mile in your favorite park and send us a photo while wearing your Paws in the Park shirt! Tag us on social media or email [email protected] with your photo. This event keeps its historical name even though it has now moved to HHHS (we have or own P.A.R.K. at the shelter - Parking Lot, Activity Center, Recreational Yards, and Kennels!). We would love to see participants sporting their commemorative event shirt as you enjoy bonding time with your canine best friend.
