I am currently pursuing my Master of Music Education at Colorado State University (Kodály emphasis), which I began in 2024. The next step is to complete Kodály Level II in Fort Collins, continuing to build on the Level I training I already integrate into my teaching at CSS.

This professional development directly supports students across K-12. In the Lower School, it expands my repertoire of songs, games, and sequential teaching strategies that foster joyful, developmentally appropriate music learning. In the Middle and Upper School vocal ensembles, it further refines my approach to conducting and ensemble instruction, strengthening students' musicianship through skills like sight-singing, inner hearing, and musical independence. These are areas I already prioritize in my teaching and continue to develop through advanced study.

Students consistently respond with enthusiasm to the materials and approaches I bring back from these courses, and this next level of training will allow me to further elevate their musical experience. Support for this opportunity will have a direct and lasting impact on the strength, creativity, and cohesion of the CSS music program as I work toward completing my degree in the fall of 2027.
