Sukari is a bull whose name means "Sugar" and his pedigree is just as sweet. Bred by one of the most prestigious Akaushi studs in the Southern Hemisphere, Mazda Wagyu in Gippsland, Victoria.

Sukari represents the very best of what Australian Akaushi breeding has to offer the world.
His sire, Ashwood Park Virile, needs no introduction to serious Akaishi producers. Ashwood Park Virile is an Australian super sire with very limited semen imported to the US. Sired by Shigemaru, known as a very versatile bull that produces strong, broody daughters and powerful sons - and his dam, TWA Mekata is daughter of the legendary Namiko and the same dam as the popular and very difficult to find bull FX014.
Virile has a proven track record, but his highly desirable Shigemaru x Hikari x Namiko pedigree is even better. The Namiko maternal line has produced some exceptional cattle, including elite sires Ashwood FX014, Bald Ridge Henshin, and Ashwood Park Virile himself - making this one of the most productive and proven cow families in all of Akaushi genetics.

On the dam side, Sukari's mother is Mazda Wagyu Madura, a product of the elite Mazda Wagyu breed improvement program running since 1997 where only proven sires and donors that meet elite performance criteria are selected to breed forward. Mazda Wagyu is one of Australia's most recognized and respected fullblood Wagyu operations, supplying elite genetics worldwide including to the European Union, China, South Africa, and the Americas. A dam bearing the Mazda Wagyu prefix carries with her the quality assurance of one of the most carefully managed Red Wagyu breeding programs on earth.
