WBTX JC Rueshaw 75 166K is a direct son of the most celebrated Red Wagyu bull ever to enter the show ring - JC Rueshaw 75, the two-time Houston Grand Champion whose record-setting marbling performance captivated the entire Wagyu world and whose bull and semen inventory sold for a combined $500,000 in 2022, the highest price ever recorded for a Red Wagyu animal. Semen from JC75 himself is not available on the open market. A direct son, out of a dam from the proven JMK program in Texas, represents one of the most compelling opportunities to access this legendary genetic line.
Sire: JC Rueshaw 75 - The World Record Bull
JC Rueshaw 75 had the largest ribeye area plus the highest ever marbling scan at the Houston Livestock Show in 2014 - he also topped the list in 2015. He and his semen inventory sold for a Wagyu world record of $500,000 in 2022. He was the Houston Grand Champion Red Wagyu bull in both 2014 and 2015, recording the top marbling score and largest ribeye competing against both Red and Black Wagyu bulls. He is a direct son of the original Rueshaw - the only national champion to ever leave Japan - whose semen has sold for as much as $22,000 for a single unit.
JC75's dam, JC Ms Umemaru 30, is one of the most powerful donor cows in the history of the Akaushi breed. She is a daughter of WSI Umemaru bred to a daughter of Judo over the foundation female JVP Kunisakae 124, and is linebred to Dai 10 Mitsumaru three times through Kaedemaru and JVP Kunisakae 124. This pedigree concentrates the marbling ability of WSI Umemaru, Judo, and Hikari with the growth and carcass genetics of Rueshaw, backed by the Kaedemaru and Kunisakae cow families - a combination that produced two back-to-back Houston Champions and a world-record price.
The Outcross Value of Rueshaw Genetics
What makes JC75's bloodline uniquely powerful is not only its proven marbling supremacy but its genetic independence from the mainstream Akaushi population. Rueshaw 430 has no ancestors in common with any other fullblood foundation sires, red or black, outside Japan. He is remarkably free of inbreeding with no duplication in his pedigree for the previous three generations, and is unrelated to all other fullblood foundation sires, red or black, outside Japan. This means WBTX JC Rueshaw 75 166K carries a significant outcross coefficient to virtually any program built on the mainstream Heartbrand genetics - Hikari, Shigemaru, Big Al, Tamamaru, Samsung, and the standard 1994 foundation cow families. For those programs, a direct son of JC75 offers the most proven marbling genetics in the breed combined with genuine genetic distance from their existing base.
Dam: JMK 0055H - JMK Program, Texas
JMK 0055H is a product of the JMK program - a serious Texas fullblood Akaushi operation whose cattle have also been used in partnership with Flying 4F in Texas and whose prefix appears in several prominent genetics transactions in the breed. Specific pedigree details for JMK 0055H are not publicly documented in available sources. If the seller can provide dam pedigree details, these will be incorporated into the final catalog description.
