RMW Kotsukari 27E is a son of TWA Kotsukari - one of the most elite and limited Hikari sons in the breed - out of Kalanga Kajimiko B647, a dam whose name reflects a deliberate convergence of two of the Kalanga stud's premier genetic lines: the Kajikari marbling lineage and the Namiko maternal line.

TWA Kotsukari is a direct son of Hikari, the 1994 foundation import who is the breed's leading sire for 200, 400, and 600 day weights in AWA Breedplan. Kotsukari inherits Hikari's celebrated balance of elite growth, calving ease, and heavy-milking daughters, while adding his own carcass distinction. TWA Kotsukari semen is very limited in the USA and commands a high dollar amount per straw. His progeny have demonstrated excellent muscling depth, calving ease, strong gains, and above-average tenderness and fat scoring. With Hikari no longer living and no new semen collectible, Kotsukari represents one of the very few remaining pathways to direct Hikari genetics in sire form.
