Built to stand the test of time (and a few hard landings!), this antique game of quoits is ready for another round. A traditional ring-toss game and predecessor to modern horseshoe pitching, quoits traces its origins to ancient Greece and Rome before becoming a popular pastime in the United States.

This vintage set was manufactured in Baltimore, Maryland, by the sporting goods store "Little Joes," which operated from approximately the 1880s through 1925. Forged from iron or steel, it includes six rings marked "C" and "B" to denote teams, along with two steel stakes.

Dimensions: Rings approximately 5.5" diameter x 1"

Condition: Normal wear with light rust-like discoloration consistent with age.

Thanks to the generosity of members of the Wildlife Center's Board of Directors, shipping is included for the winning bidder (U.S. addresses only). Due to the weight of this item, pickup is recommended.
