Forever intertwining nature with home, artist Cecky Ropelewski repurposes found deer antlers into dream catchers, featuring symmetrical beadwork and woven patterns. Dream catchers originated with the Ojibwe (Chippewa) people, who traditionally crafted small willow hoops with woven sinew webs. According to Ojibwe tradition, dream catchers were hung near sleeping infants to catch bad dreams while allowing good dreams to pass through.
This handcrafted piece features artificial sinew, beadwork, feathers, and fur, creating a distinctive work of art inspired by both nature and tradition.
Dimensions: 6" x 5.5" x 14" (including tassels)
Thanks to the generosity of members of the Wildlife Center's Board of Directors, shipping is included for the winning bidder (U.S. addresses only).
