5:30 PM - Cocktails and passed hors d'oeuvres; silent auction bidding
6:45 PM - Seated dinner and program begins including performances, live auction and honoree presentation
9:15 PM - Event Ends
Attire: Color, color, color! You know that Electric Blue suit you wore once and never thought you would wear again? Well this is the time! Those hot pink shoes you bought that you have yet to wear? Well break them out!
Parking Information: We recommend parking in the South deck of MacArthur Center, which has a street entrance on City Hall Avenue.

Do I need to pay by credit card?
Although paying by credit card is the easiest way VSC will accept checks as payment. If you would like to pay for a ticket, sponsorship or table via check please contact Kandis Hyde, 757-627-6988 x315 or [email protected].
Is my ticket tax deductible?
Yes, depending on the ticket you purchase all or a portion of it is tax deductible. VSC's tax id #54-0829234.
Do I have to pay the credit card fees?
Although it is appreciated, you do not have to pay for the fees. Just uncheck the box during check out and the fee will be removed.
How do I bid during the auction?
You will need your phone or mobile device to bid on auction items during the event. You do not need to be present to bid on silent auction items. If not attending you can bid from home using a mobile device, tablet, laptop or desktop.

Do I have to register a credit card to bid?
Yes, registering a credit card will make the check out process quicker. You will be prompted and will have to approve all charges during the check out process. If you have questions regarding an item on your receipt, please contact Kandis Hyde.
Do I have to attend the event to bid or purchase a raffle ticket?
You can place bids without attending the event for silent auction items only. You may also purchase raffle tickets but note the raffle item HAS to be picked up in person. You must be present to bid on live auction items.
**Please note we do not recommend auto bidding. Due to the nature of the live event the end time of the silent auction is an estimated time frame.
How do I pay for my item once I win?
We require that you put a credit card on file when bidding on items for an easy, quick check out. At the end of the night on 5/16, you'll be able to go to your activity and check out with just a few clicks! If you prefer to pay by check, please reach out to Kandis Hyde for information on how to send in your payment. If you do not check out within 24 hours of the event, you give Virginia Stage Company permission to automatically process your transaction. You will receive a minimum of 2 notifications via text or email before we will charge your card on file.
How do I retrieve or arrange my auction item/experience?
We encourage you to pick up your item the night of the event. If you are unable to do so a VSC staff member will contact you after the auction closes on 5/16 with all the pertinent information you need to know for the next steps in fulfilling your auction win. Keep an eye on your email inbox! If the item can't be mailed, the exact pick up times currently are:
May 19 - 9-5pm
May 20 - 1-6pm
After May 20 please coordinate pick-ups with staff.
