Project Description: I was inspired to participate in the HPV mask project because I like the idea of turning someone's pain into beauty. The mask represents not only hardship but also hope, life, and bravery. My design is inspired by crochet chains. Each chain presents moments and memories in life. Just like crochet, life is built step by step. Sometimes mistakes happen, but you can undo a chain and fix it or add more and keep going. The flower in my design represents special memories and growth. It shows that even after difficult moments, something beautiful can grow.

I have learned different ways to recognize the risks of HPV and how to prevent it. One important way to prevent HPV-related cancers is by getting the HPV vaccine and having regular health checkups and screenings. I can share what I learned by educating my friends, family, and community about HPV and the importance of prevention. Talking about the vaccine and regular screenings can help people protect their health and catch problems early.

Notes to Patients: My message is that your pain can become someone else's motivation. Your hope can be the light that guides someone else's path. What you gain from your strength and courage can help others who may feel lost. Be grateful for every moment you have, and remember that your story matters. Your bravery can inspire others and remind them that they are not alone. Even in difficult times, your strength can bring hope to others.
